This is the photo journal of my Mexican vacation
Left July 28 and returned August 6th ,2007
Various different picture groupings including:.
Chichen Itza , pics from a driving trip , nature shots
Sunsets / sunrises , photos from a Cenote and some plain old vacation shots.

How to view these Slide Shows
clicking on an image in the slide show will lead to a larger version of the picture selected
Depending on the browser your computer uses ,
it will take two or three steps to get to a full size picture
When you click on that pic another window will appear
It may show a different version of the slide show
with the picture you selected highlighted (click on that )
or it could have a window with a version of the picture with various text below it.
if that's the case click on "full size view"
Some browsers will get you there in 2 steps some in 3 .
I would like to get feedback on if you prefer slide shows or
would rather have a page of "thumbnail" pictures to click on.
So your impute is extremely welcome ( and NEEDED ).

The Misener 2007 Mexican adventure
It's been 18 years between vacations alone for my wife and I ,
we figured it was now or never
as my back problems seem to be getting worse
and WE may never get to do this type of thing , together again.

this one is in progress - as are the rest of the Mexico slideshows.
The pictures are getting added as my back allows me to photoshop them for the web
all should be done in the next week or so- so stop back

Bear with me as my experience grows with photography and site design , things will improve.

Photography and photo enhancement are now my way of coping with the lose of my former more "physical" life
My back injury robbed me of my woodworking , hiking , hunting , canoeing , karate
and all those types of really physical things I loved to do.
So far photography has been a great way to channel my energies.
It allows the creative being inside me to once again express itself.
The increased pain that movement ( and sitting at the computer ) brings
limits a lot of the factors involved with my photography.
Where and what I can shoot now is limited by my movement abilities
the time I can spend to drive to a site and walk around shooting is now limited
Usually 2 hours or less is my limit , depending on how the pain increases, that particular day.
Even sitting here working on the site or photoshopping images is usually limited
to about an hour at a time , due to sitting increasing my pain levels.
But this does keep my mind active and keeps me EXCITED about living now.
That was a feeling that I had lost , when I lost the ability to function normally.

Any advice or criticism of my "work" is always welcome AND appreciated
